Pomodoro timer
Twenty-five minutes of focus, then a short break, repeat. The difference here is that the timer lives on the same canvas as the work. Your notes and your task list are right beside it, not in another tab.

How to use it
- 1 Start the timer and work until it rings.
- 2 Take the short break it offers, then start the next round.
- 3 After four rounds, take the long break.
- 4 Put your Notes or Focus Board next to the timer so the work is where the timer is.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Pomodoro technique?
A time-management method that breaks work into focused intervals, traditionally 25 minutes, separated by short breaks, with a longer break after every four intervals. The intervals are called pomodoros.
Can I change the interval lengths?
Not currently. The timer runs the classic 25-minute work interval with a 5-minute short break and a 15-minute long break, and that split is fixed.
Does the timer keep running if I switch tabs?
Yes. The timer keeps time in the background and notifies you when the interval ends.
Do I need an account?
No. KontrolRoom works offline in your browser with no sign-in required.
